This is a marvellously informative tour and my tour guide, Alex, was the consummate professional. He was careful to ensure all the information he provided was clear and correct. This is a two hour history lesson, whilst walking and taking in the various sites around Durham old town. Even before the tour, Alex was in contact with me and I was impressed with his responsiveness, which continued on the day. The walk is probably about 4 or 5 km, but it’s not arduous as there are lots of stops. There is possibly only one short uphill section that’s a little taxing, but at the beginning of the tour Alex did stress that giving feedback we go is a good idea. It is a good value tour, it even when it’s raining, Thanks a million, Alex.
