What you can expect

Enjoy a day out at Hampton Court Palace and its magnificent surrounding gardens. Only 30 minutes by train from central London takes you back over 500 years into the world of Henry VIII and his extravagant lifestyle. Marvel at the rooms and the extraordinary furnishings of this majestic palace.

The notoriously flamboyant Henry VIII bought Hampton Court Palace in 1520 and began decorating it with fabulous tapestries and paintings. By the end of the 17th century, William and Mary added elegance and romance to the palace by commissioning beautiful, neighboring Baroque buildings.

Today the remaining Tudor buildings are among the most important ones in existence. They are set in 60 acres of immaculate riverside gardens, next to a world-famous maze.
