Description

Travel back in time as you delve into the colorful past of Charleston on a memorable walking tour. Admire the elegant architecture of grand mansions, the lavish landscaping of mature gardens, and listen to unique tales about events and individuals that shaped the character of this Southern city.

Meet up with your guide and set off on foot through lovely side streets, hearing what life was like in Charleston during colonial times. Discover the independent roots of Charleston, the site of the first decisive victory of the Revolutionary War, the first American flag to be flown, and even the first tea party—which preceded Boston's more famous version.

Nice tour of the town. Definitely bring a water bottle for the walk. I wished we could have gone inside some of the buildings or churches. She had good information about the town.

Tour guide was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. You get a great taste of the downtown historic district, and hit most of the major historic sights.
