Description

Come and see what makes Bermuda so magnificent on this tour as we wrap around the island. There are so many wonderful sites to see while learning all about Bermuda’s history & culture. Let's take in the key landmarks as we circle the Island by coach. Starting from the Royal Naval Dockyard (King's Wharf & Heritage Wharf), you will learn about the British colonial rule of the 1600's from your guide as we make our way to the Heydon Trust, to see the smallest chapel on the island and the construction of a Bermuda home; see the smallest drawbridge in the world - the Somerset Bridge; the famous pink-sand beaches, including the Horseshoe Bay; the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse (2.50 USD Entrance Fee); the Old Towne of St. George, Bermuda's capital from 1612 - 1815; and witness the historic re-enactment of the punishment of the town gossip. Also go touring the North side of Bermuda, viewing the Governor's Mansion, and then take a short tour of our present capital, the city of Hamilton. The tour finishes back at the cruise ship pier in the Royal Naval Dockyard.

Since the tour was full, the company sent another tour guide to take care of us (my husband, our 2 young kids, and I). Therefore, it was like a private tour! The tour was fantastic! Since we have 2 young children, our tour guide asked for our preference and customized the tour that was perfect for us! He was very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly, with a sense of humor. We learned a lot about this beautiful Island and its history. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family!

Great overview of the island. There is a brief shopping stop in Hamilton but you don't get to see much of the city and another stop around noon but I'd advise bringing a snack as there is no official lunch stop on this five hour tour. I would like to commend the knowledge of our driver/guide and the organization as they were highly attentive to our requests for information prior to the trip
