What you can expect

Get ready for adventure, and kayak out to a pristine marine sanctuary teeming with an abundance of aquatic life. Enjoy snorkeling or whale watching—depending on the season—and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins and manta rays year round, in addition to tropical fish and Hawaiian green sea turtles.

Receive a brief snorkeling and kayaking demonstration before heading out on the water, aboard a comfortable and stable kayak. Paddle out to a marine sanctuary, a pristine section of coast featuring a tremendous volume and diversity of aquatic Hawaiian species.

In snorkeling season, jump in the water and enjoy complete immersion in the vibrant world under the surface. Your guides show you the best techniques for easy entry and exit into the water. Learn about conservation efforts to protect and conserve the reef and its inhabitants.

During winter sea conditions, stay in the kayak and keep an eye out for breaching humpback whales, frolicking in the water in the midst of their southern migration. Admire the movements of these graceful giants, jettisoning tremendous amounts of ocean water into the air with massive force.
