Description

Stroll the quaint cobblestone streets in one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods for a taste of the city's Italian heritage. Pay a visit to iconic landmarks across the North End and delight in 3 slices from some of the city's oldest brick ovens as you hear and explore the history around you.

First settled in the 1630s, the North End is the oldest residential community in Boston. A walk through the area takes you to see 5 sites along the city's Freedom Trail, including Boston's oldest standing church, the famous statue of Paul Revere, and the patriot's former home. Along the way, enjoy some great local pizza slices from a classic brick oven that dates back to 1883.

Enjoy a bird's-eye view of the USS Constitution's berth in the Charlestown Navy Yard and the nearby monument to the Battle of Bunker Hill before your walk comes to an end at the historic Clough house. Learn about the traditions of old-world printing or chocolate making with a demonstration that completes your tour through Boston's early days.

More tours should be offered in the evenings especially during extreme weather. Our tour was at 2 pm. Too hot and humid for a walking tour. The first pizza place was very small and difficult to accommodate 14 people. Tour guide was awesome!

It was a nice tour. Learned alot about the history of Boston. The pizza was yummy, The only thing is that the way is promoted in expedia I thought is was a tour and history of Pizza not of Boston. But still a good, fun tour. I recommend.
