What you can expect

Flor de Caña Rum is made in Nicaragua and is one of the best rums in the world. Visit the place where this rum is made, learn about all its processes, and most importantly, learn about its history, which is interesting and inspirational. Additionally, discover the colonial city of León, its history, traditions, and beautiful cathedral.

Our guide picks you up at the lobby of the centrally located hotel in Managua or Granada City. The route is colorful as you pass from town to town admiring the beauty of the Nicaraguan landscape formed by agricultural plantations, lakes, volcanoes, and small villages. Once in Flor de Caña, the 6-stage rum tour starts: welcoming at cane plantation and locomotive, family Reserve and tasting finest rum, hand-crafted barrels, Adele Theather-brand history, warehouses, museum and world’s biggest barrel.

After experiencing the richness of Nicaraguan rum, transfer to León City to have lunch at your own expense.

In the afternoon, a walking city tour in León. Visit the largest cathedral in Central America and go to its beautiful roof as you discover hidden design secrets. Walk the Cental Park and external tour of main surrounding buildings. Later, go to the Rubén Darío Museum, this is the house where “The Father of Modernism” lived when he was under 4 years old.
