This amazing atraction is located 180 m under the earth and was builted by the miners and engineers around 1955, just right next to an active salt mine, everything handmade and carved on salt and carbon. In 1990 was renovated and open to the public as a Salt Park and since then, It has been through a lot of upgradings that lead this structure to become in what it is today: The First Colombian Wonder.
The experience starts at 8am picking you up at your place and then, go towards to Zipaquirá, a municipality 45 minutes away from Bogotá. The tour host will take you to the entrance of the Salt Mine with an audio-guide, this tool will help you to learn and understand many things of the history behind this sacred place. Back to the surface you'll taste a delicious typical lunch in this little and beautiful town to recharge your energies and after, take a brief walf around the downtown of Zipaquirá.
