This magnificent Georgian residence is a must-see attraction. Experience authentic grand eighteenth century living in this beautiful Georgian building. Don’t miss the oldest surviving piece of Waterford Crystal in the world dating back to 1789, and the Napoleon Bonaparte’s Mourning Cross; the only one to survive out of the original twelve that were made on his death. • A re-enactor tour, you will be guided through the Palace by Susanna Penrose, the granddaughter of William Penrose and great-grandniece of George Penrose - the men who founded Waterford Glass. The experience culminates in an immersive, 17 minute long 4D film detailing the remarkable history of the glassworks (available in English, French and Mandarin).

Enjoy the latest in technology with the magnificent 4D ‘Masterpieces in Glass’, a magical journey into the history of glass making in Waterford, tracing the history and culture of glass making in the city from the Penrose family in the 1700s to modern day. Visit our Crystal Master Craftsman and watch him creating beautiful engraved pieces of crystal before your very eyes. He will also explain about the superb 911 piece that he created which was presented to the NYFD and also point out the memorial that we have in our garden of the only piece of the Twin Towers given to any other country by the NYFD.
