We booked a room with a king bed and a pullout couch for our two small children. When we opened it at 10:30pm there was a hypodermic needle in it. No extra blankets in the closet and one of the pillowcases on the bed had some crusty green stain on it, so we had to all squeeze into one bed. Just horrible for the price

The staff was rude. They put me in the wrong room. They lied about not even having double rooms. When in fact they actually do. Still charged me for a double premium. They did offer a dinner at their crappy restaurant though.

A cute place
The double tree was a cute property with friendly staff at check in and throughout, it was undergoing renovations however that did not hinder us from having a great stay. The only issue we experienced was insignificant water pressure from the sink but hopefully after renovations that will be resolved. I would stay again in the future.

Great!
Great room 5th floor corner,, very large suite. Clean, comfortable and plenty of windows. Excellent customer service by Jackie,,, Great hotel, parking only 20$/night. 8 min from UT. Pappadeaux right across the street. Restaurant in site. *only downside - temporary renovations some noise in the afternoon.
