I always stay at St Giles as it’s great value and the location is superb. It’s not the most salubrious hotel but it’s clean and comfortable so that’s what matters. However this time we had no hot water for the whole stay which I think is totally unacceptable. I reported it the first morning and was told there was a boiler down but staff were on site. When we came back later in the day we were told it had been fixed and there was hot water at the sink. However this morning when we tried to have a shower again there was no hot water. The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment but that’s no excuse and it did spoil an otherwise nice stay.

Excellent position close to Tottenham Court Road tube station. Friendly, helpful staff. Spotless room and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.

Really convenient location. Helpful staff and was allowed to check in early. My only criticism is time spent waiting for the lifts in a morning with people checking out and going for breakfast.
