Overnight stay fabulous
Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff from reception through to waiting staff were very helpful and polite . Our room was very hot from the heating ,we just had to open our window. My husband mentioned this to reception and they were very helpful and listened they said they would look into that .

Excellent location near the Russell Square Underground station. Hop on hop off bus was a 2 minute walk past the underground station. Beautiful green space in Russell Square. Lots of great dining choices - highly recommend Ciao Bella (but make sure you have reservations). I would stay here again.

The President is a nice convenient and affordable hotel. I like staying at the President or the imperial which are connected and part of the same chain as they are in walking distance from Kings Cross and also next to the Russell Square Tube station. There was a bit of construction work as they are renovating but they were finished well before 6pm. There are several places to eat nearby, and 2 different small pubs in easy walking distance. The twin we were in was about average/small ish and we were direct opposite the lift but with the security they have on the lift we never heard much at all. The rooms are due for a renovation but I believe from staff that they are working down! If you are travelling solo or on a budget this is a great hotel. The British Museum is a 5 min walk and once you get orientated it is really easy to get back to! Also a very safe area and as I was origionally planning to travel solo I would go back there the next time I return to London.

Great location. Rooms tired on 4th floor and need modernising. No socket by bed. Shower difficult to use. Staff very helpful and dressed smart.
