Very lively loved the water aerobics and nightly entertainment. Did not like the steak house at all. Food was terrible. I had the burger, husband had the ribeye. Burger was like a dried out frozen thin patty, steak also overcooked and fatty. When I read Steakhouse and you needed a reservation that isn’t what I was expecting! Wish I never ate there. Should just change it to a burger place with better burgers and no reservation needed. All other eateries were good! Many nice employees especially the main guy in the front bar!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked our next trip to a RIU hotel in Costa Rica. Our only negative experience was our booking for a day of Scuba and Snorkelling that got pushed to another day because of weather was not done properly and we lost out on that experience which was one of our main goals of coming to Jamaica. In addition, with our love of the sea we were shocked on the use of balloons during all the pool parties and RIU Parties.

My stayed at the Riu Reggae was great. It was my first time in Jamaica and travelled by myself and at first i was skeptical and kinda scared since I have read and heard not so good things about the country but I managed to overcome all of these. The hotels are gated and has security, the staff greeted me right away and offered me a drink while checking in. I arrived late in the evening so I have missed the dinner time theres a 24 bar with snacks you can get after 10pm. My room is in the main floor and its clean and they gave me the king size bed as I requested before my trip. There is a alcohol dispenser minibar in the room, the room is soacious too. The only thing they dont have blankets only flat sheet in the bed and the room can get cold at times. I downloaded the RIu app and was able to access all the activities and the page also was able to book online my reservations for dinner, there are 4 different type of restaurants open dinner time plus the buffet.Also during the day the Jerk Shack is open for lunch hour and I definitely love eating by the jerk chicken and by the beach. Also I was happy that there are a lot of activities games aqua exercise and shows at night that kept me entertained. I enjoyed my stay, the performers and dancers are awesome they always give their best to keep the guests enetertain. I loved the Grease, Reggae, Jamaican show and also had fun with The NeonParty. I celebrated my birthday there did the Catamaran tours and Neon Party I had a blast.

Really liked the openness of the property - how you could have the buffet breakfast and feel the ocean breeze while you ate. The spa was fantastic, even the way it smelled was lovely.
