The hotel gardens are well maintained. pool bar available all day. Hotel registration desk is awesome. i had on snafu with one employee, but the stellar performance of Tradicia (?) far exceeded my expectations. the restaurant service was excellent. most american's traveling grumble about slow restaurant service. Not at Tobys. Quick and delicious. Large portions.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
If you arrive early - forget early check in - would not check us in until check in time. Even though I called the week before and the day before arrival with flight info - flight no. and time - we were left at the airport waiting and finally had to call and then they were on their way - on top of that there was 17 of us, which I was told no problem... we had to leave half of us at airport and come back and get us. Very disappointed, especially when confirming the arrangements twice before arrival. Service in the restaurant was extremely slow and forget refills of water - asked three times and never got it. Once we finally got in our rooms - went to the pool - only to find out we had to go back to the front to get pool towels - which we then could not get without leaving additional deposit - at this point I was just in my suit - Very disappointed in the communication - why was this not covered at check in. NO I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

I have stayed at this property yearly for at least 5 years. They continue to make improvements to the property and it is a lovely place to stay especially if you need to be close to MBJ airport. While close to the airport, because of the direction jets take off, there is no increase in noise. I am VERY impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Likewise the staff is warm and helpful.

The facility's underlying structure is older, but everything appears quite well maintained and my room was very clean and attractive. The staff were all pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I was only there overnight to catch a plane, so my feedback on the location and amenities is limited. The pool area appeared to be in good condition and popular with the other guests. The area around the resort seemed to be a mix of beach-related tourist facilities and other businesses, so the activity around it did not appear to be purely tourist-focused. The facility is fenced and gated with staff overseeing access, so I felt entirely safe within the resort grounds.
