So I booked and paid for a king room with a bay view however, upon arrival the manager told me she was sold out of all king rooms. She said that when you book through a third party like Expedia, there is no guarantee to reserve your room preference (even though I paid extra for this). The only room available was 2 doubles or she could just cancel my room. I had no choice to stay due to a procedure at Stanford the next morning. I agreed to the double beds but the manager told me she'd reimburse my parking fee (the $25 fee per night) due to the inconvenience. I agreed and thanked her. Well the charge still went through. So not only did I pay for a room that I didn't get, I was then charged $25 extra after the manager told me she'd waive it. Really annoying and frustrating. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.
