Good hotel with nice amenities. My price was great and the staff was friendly. I saw a lot of negative reviews but other than the property being old I was generally pleased.

My expectations were exceeded. I had read the many negative reviews but decided to give the place a try. I am a diamond member and have stayed at many Embassy Suite hotels. This one is old and is being renovated but management seems to be working to improve the facilities, staff is friendly, overall amenities are good. I would stay here again if I were to get the same great price.

Disappointment
This was a big disappointment. We had to wait over an hour AFTER check-in to get our room. This was after we got Expedia involved. They were fully booked & not prepared. Several people were on a list to get a room that they had already booked. The building was chipping paint everywhere. They were actually painting the exterior while we were there. The hot tub was a main reason we chose this place and it was only open the first night we were there because a kid pooped in it. Anytime we asked about something (when our room would be ready or when the hot tub would reopen) we were told they would call us, which never happened. Free snacks were a joke. Carrots, broccoli, ranch, tortilla chips, and salsa. They did not offer to do anything for our inconvenience. I would have cancelled the reservation, but all the other hotels were booked. It also was noisy because all of the rooms surround the pool. Maybe good for a family, but not for couples. It is dog friendly, which I did like. Will not stay here again. Rather spend more money to stay somewhere nicer. Hotel looked tired & so were the employees.

The staff was very friendly and the service was good. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour with free drinks was nice. However, we had some issues in with our room. The floor above us was very squeaky and loud whenever people walked around. The AC was also extremely loud when it was on. The sofa looked dirty, the hair dryer was gross and the room smelled dingy. We did complain to the front desk about the floors above us and they told us they moved the people to another room and no one would be in there anymore. But the 1st night was rough.
