Wifi is terrible, breakfast is same every day and just above warm unless you time it right where replacement comes out. Service is good. Location is fabulous. Hotel is tired and needs an upgrade however rooms etc all clean. You pay for location, not the ***** stars!

Great location facing Scarborough Beach
Great location facing Scarborough Beach with restaurants and shops within a short walk - nearby arcade includes Coles Supermarket, a pharmacy, gents barber, etc. Lots of activities on the beach (we were here in Feb 2024) including a food truck festival every Thursday evening. Room was clean - no issues - and the buffet breakfast in the G/F restaurant was well stocked, and had a separate gluten-free section for celiacs.
Loads of food trucks attend the food festival every Thursday (summer only?)

Once good, now very tired and hugely overpricef
Once 5 star, but now very tired, even shoddy in rooms, old shower curtains, bottom of bathroom doors crumbling. Unable to get the much-advertised room service - I had to go out for takeaways. A casual apology was all I got from management, but If I owned this hotel I'd be furious at the loss of income this sloppy service must accrue. It is hard to believe the likes of Michael Jackson once stayed here. Poorest off all the 5 hotels I stayed in Perth this trip, but at keast 50% more expensive than the rest.
