Beautiful hotel. Nice and comfy beds. Mountain View was spectacular of the remarkable range. Downfall, stove was a pain to turn on and figure out. Cooking dishes very scratched up, and parking was free on first come basis. Once full, you park in paid parking. I think it might be free but I wasn’t clear. Overall, I’d recommend this place. 4 1/2 stars.

Fantastic view from the ‘Mountain View’ room. The area around the hotel was great for cafe’s and restaurants, all within a 10-15 minute walk. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and available.

Park in the public parking $10 NZD for 24 hr period from the time purchased There really wasn’t anywhere to park next to the hotel. Apparently a city wide issue that they don’t intend to fix because this was a newer property in a very open area and they have 1 parking slot for every 4-5 rooms. Just park in the public parking and don’t fight it.

Nice enough Hotel. Had to wait an extra hour for room check in. No VIP upgrade, told they were too busy. The parking is a joke. Very limited parking that is co sold off to permanent tenants. Had to go up the road to an unlit parking lot and pay for parking via another app. The room with a a view does have the Mountain View with a huge RSJ steel beam passing across the window. I was so sick of dealing with parking in NZ by the end of our trip, there should be a star rating for parking on all hotels based on being overpriced or non existent. This one gets a no stars for parking.
