Spectacular location beware of parking
Location is spectacular. Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was trying to close the closet door and bathroom door. The closet door stuck a lil bit. The bathroom door was very closet to the toilet. The parking was odd as there was nowhere to pull up and check in when we arrived. Finally, pulled into the closest parking garage Lincoln Street and that was the 1 we were supposed to use. Prepaid parking at much cheaper than the garage regular rates.

The common areas were not well maintained. The computer "business" area was not functioning and was filthy. Carpets in hallways need to be cleaned. furniture in lobby also needs to be cleaned.

We liked the hotel, but the one thing that was disappointing was the television and available local news. There was no “guide” button on the remote or instructions on use in the room. Each time you selected the next channel, the TV hesitated for a couple seconds or just froze. The volume wouldn’t increase no matter how high you selected. We were there from 2/22-2/24 and never was able to see a weather report or local news. Breakfast was mediocre and lukewarm. We didn’t even eat there two of the three mornings because of this. If I came to Savannah again, I would not stay at this hotel. Pros: - fantastic desk service, helpful with everything - central location - safe, nearby parking ramp - good water flow and hot water Cons: - poorly designed hotel. Atrium is weird and loud. There are steps where there shouldn’t be (you’ll find that out). Not all stairwells lead to ground floor. Ground floor and mezzanine are different. - outside noise is bad. Construction and semi trucks nonstop. - windows are not blackout. Shutters look attractive but do little to keep morning sun out. You’re going to be waking up with the roosters. - entire inside property needs a little TLC. Dings everywhere. Peeling. Dust in rooms.
