If you'll stay around the end of June, summer, I do not recommend to stay at this hotel. There's no air circulation inside the room and no air condition. At mid-night or early morning, the outside temperature 60F but inside room temperature 95F. Never went down. We stayed from June 19 -23, 2023.

Great location, but shame about the sound-proofing
Location is great. But unfortunately the sound-proofing wasn’t good. I was in a room that was on the 5th floor and faced out onto the communal public gardens - but the noise of the traffic kept me awake periodically throughout the night.

The front desk staff are exceptionally charming, friendly and professional. It was not a great experience tho particularly with the hot water, the nose of construction, drilling and banging, with cold weather outside, I thought I could have a peaceful night away from home, disappointed that I couldn’t, I know this not normal and President Hotel are just caught up with the reality of the work improvement on the imperial hotel, I live in Liverpool and no I have the idea of avoiding this hotel however my friend tried to help but it’s experience to remember

No construction notification? Geez…
Good- Bar, restaurant, great location close to restaurants, pubs and shops, friendly staff, comfortable rooms (at night). Bad- Hotel did not inform us of construction. No hot water during the day, and loud construction noise starting at 8AM! Also, the water had dirt in it due to plumbing repairs and the faucet had to be ran to flush out the gross stuff that came out. Ew. Also, house keeping was inconsistent. They didn’t service our room once and we had to call for new towels and coffee. Hotel was a little tired too- carpets were old, doors were old with chipped wood. With the exception of the construction, it was fine. I’d stay again but would have appreciated a heads up.

- Complaint around check in disability access raised same day via direct email to hotel and via Expedia but no response provided by the time we had left on the third day - Car park is inaccessible to wheelchairs as there are three flights of steps between it and the foyer, with the lift only covering the third of these fights of steps and not the first two - This information was not provided despite specifically emailing hotel well in advance of stay about wheelchair client coming to stay - No other pedestrian access out of the car park, so a wheelchair user driver would simply not be able to use the car park - No hot water between 10am and 4pm every single day due to faults - Very loud drilling throughout each of the days - Maintenance materials (paper rolls, cardboard boxes and metalware) left in the corridoor over two days, again compromising access - Front desk staff indifferent to and uninformed about hearing and mobility impairments - No practical help offered for check out despite check in access complaint being raised immediately after arriving - Front desk had run out of milks for in room beverages (on one evening and again the following morning) - TV only worked one of three days
