Great location for us as it was across from the Gothic area and a $12 cab ride to the cruise port. The hotel staff could not have been more attentive and courteous. Loved staying here and would definitely do so in the future.

Best Hotel Ever

We traveled to many parts of the world and we never stayed at a better hotel. The staff is very attentive and helpful with any request. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and roomy. The amenities are incredible from the infinity pool and gorgeous pool deck to their WIFI or their delicious breakfast or the free minibar ....The location is also straight in the best part of the Barcelona. We went shopping, eating, sightseeing without taking public transportation. When in Barcelona, there is only one place to stay; The Grand Hotel Central.

Great Hotel

Pros: Beds and roof top bar
Cons: More bar soap SLOW internet
Great hotel on a great locations near everything in Barcelona. The roof top pool and bar are outstanding as is the City Bar in the lobby for before dinner drinks. Staff was excellent and make very good restaurant recommendations.

Great hotel, great location

Location: The very small tapas bar from Costa Rica in the alley next door, Pura Vida, is fantastic!
This hotel is perfectly located in Barcelona. Easy walking distance to a number of sites, museums & places to eat. The staff is fantastic. Views from the pool deck are great too. My only comment (as a retiree, so take it for what it's worth!) is that it has that 'low light, modern dark wood' vibe to it. Our room was a little small, but the king size bed was great. We stayed after finishing almost 2 weeks in Europe, so we had a lot of luggage that was hard to place in the room without it getting in the way. We weren't in the room much anyway. For a 'home base' location in Barcelona, this place would be hard to beat!

Nice hotel centrally located

Very pleased with the hotel. Great location right in the heart of the quaint part of Barcelona and close to a metro stop. Excellent and romantic rooftop deck and pool. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
