You have no control over your environment
Pros:The morning desk staff was lovely and very accommodating. A vast improvement from the night staff.
Cons:Have WIFI available and let guests control their own room temperature.
Location:It was in the middle of absolutely no where!
There was no WIFI available at this hotel. That is not acceptable in this day and age. There was no way to control the temp in the room as it was controlled by the hotel staff. Again, not acceptable. The night desk clerk had the personality of an ant.

Good Value
I liked this place. It is quiet, clean and fairly spacious. Also, only 10 minutes walk to a subway station that gets you into Barcelona. free parking in an underground garage as well.

Worst hotel ever with many unhappy customer's
I was currently staying at the Travelodge Hospitalet in Spain for only one night, because it was absolutely the worst hospitality I have ever received anywhere. First when booking this hotel, like any hotel the check in stated it was at noon. Well the day of, when I arrived; check in was at 3:30pm and any time before that you would have to pay a * Euro fee for early check in. This was ridiculous and I was upset but what made it worst was the rudeness of the front desk. The young lady was discourteous, rude, and I found it very offensive to speak to her. To make matters worst that night I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible and needed a wake up call the next morning. That night there was a different person at the front desk whos manners werent as atrocious as the employee from earlier in the day. I specifically asked for a 6am wake up call, and of course the next day I wake up at 6:30 without one. I begin to hurry out of there only to receive my now late wake up call at 7:13am. As I check out, low and behold the front desk who made the late wake up call was the same rude employee from the day before. I realized that now not only was she uncouth but vindictive? This is the worst hotel within the Barcelona area and I recommend turning around and never staying there unless you enjoy an uncomfortable, annoying and frustrating time.
