Where do I begin? We checked in via the machine in front of the building, the passports wouldn’t scan so had to enter all the info manually which was a hassle and it took a while. Everything was fine until I tried to put on the kettle to heat up the milk for the baby. At that moment the power went out and we were left sitting in the dark in the apartment. I checked the switch board to see if I can fix the problem but nothing worked. I sent a message to the emergency number provided by the apartment but nobody replied. In my many years of travelling I have never experienced anything like this. Not to have anyone in the entire building that can assist in situations such as this one is simply outrageous. We had to fumble in the dark the entire night. We couldn’t even charge our phones because the electricity was out in the entire apartment. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement and like I said I have never had such a bad experience with accommodation in my entire life. I wrote to the reception to make a complaint about the stay and they simply ignored my email. Have not yet received a reply.
