Hotel close to Brandon Amphitheatre

Rooms are mid average. Beds are old and stained was not happy with the dirty sheets.

Wasn't totally worth the price

Pros: The staff
Cons: Because it is pet friendly, more needs to be done to get the pet smell out of the rooms in between stays.
I was disappointed by the hotel. When we arrived, one of the beds in the room was broken, and the room reeked of pets. The staff quickly fixed the bed issue, and did their best at dealing with the musty pet smell, but the smell was too far permeated to really be able to fix it. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, and the walls were as thin as paper. We could hear very clearly the entire conversations of the people staying next door, and despite being at the end of the hall, we could still hear the beeping of the waffle maker in the morning. The room was mostly clean, but I could see stains on the walls. Each bed only offered two pillows. As for the breakfast, it was extremely disappointing and had very little options.

Stinky stinky!

This was a hotel that met the standards of its rate. I stayed with 2 female teenagers for 1 night before a softball tournament. There was no elevator, the odor throughout the hotel was horrendous, and the parking lot was dark and rugged.

Good basic hotel next to I-20 at a basic price.

Pros: Friendly staff, free basic breakfast, low price, and close to interstate. Gas stations and restaurants nearby.
Cons: Repave parking lot. Fix shower head mounting hardware. Buy a better quality desk and provide pens and writing pads. Replace beat-up telephones.
One adult, one night, handicapped access room, 9-12-2015. Overall, I was satisfied. It had a good location right next to I-20. Staff was very friendly, free breakfast, clean room, and comfortable bed. Some of the pavement in the parking lot was breaking up. Pool was small. Breakfast was self-serve coffee, orange juice, apple juice, cereal, oatmeal, waffle iron, toast, and jelly - no eggs, pastries or fruit.106 had a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker, but I did not use any of them. Good TV with plenty of channels and a working remote control. Telephone worked but looked beat up. Desk and closet looked cheap, but worked ok - no pens or writing pad. Plenty of clean towels. Bathroom had a roll-in shower and no bathtub. Bathroom had one drain in the shower area and another drain in the middle of the bathroom. I took this as a clue that some of the water would flow out of the shower area and into the middle of the bathroom, and this turned out to be true. I saved my shower for the last thing at night, and by morning the water had drained away and/or dried up, so it was not much of a problem for me. The shower head was on a flexible hose and the mounting hardware for the shower head was broken. After some experimentation, I propped the shower head in the corner and that worked ok. Plenty of hot water and a good flow rate. Shampoo and soap provided. Loved the noon check-out time. Close to Dairy Queen, Wendy's, and Waffle House.

Not again

I have stayed here a few times, and the first floor is nice, but this last time I was on the second floor. It smelled like smoke, the beds were very hard, the wallpaper border was coming off and it looked like mildew underneath. It was bad. The carpet was horrible and if I wasn't stuck, I would have left. Before, I would stay on the first floor, by the office. those rooms are nice; really unexpected for the price. But, pay a few more dollars and go down the road, because not everyone can get 1st floor. Also, there is no elevator, so you will be climbing stairs, and good luck getting your key card to work. They had to re-do mine 5 times, before I could even get inside my room. I do not plan on going back.
