Flight Review

Jan 6, 2020

The flight attendant in our section was outstanding. She made us feel valued and cared for. When the plane was landing, she personally thanked each person in her section, wished us well, and said she hopes to see us again soon. The isles were narrow and the seats too hard for the long haul flight, it the service made up for it. Customer service is everything! Our flight attendant was an asset to Air France. I would definitely fly with them again!

SAA was great BUT the Delta flight prior SUCKED. Worst international flight experience. The crew was rude and not customer service friendly.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Cape Town

Make your trip to Cape Town a little easier by following these practical security tips:

  • Keep your boarding pass and passport in an easily accessible place. They'll be the first things you'll be told to produce by airport security.
  • Wallets, USB sticks and keys are to be placed in a tray for X-raying. If you pass through the body scanner with any one of these items, you'll be asked to turn back and remove them.
  • All laptops need to be taken out of their protective carry bags and placed in a tray for inspection.
  • When it comes to flying with liquids and gels, every passenger is allowed a quart-sized clear resealable bag to keep containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • Airport security personnel will likely tell you to remove your shoes for the body scanner. Choose a pair that slip off easily. There's nothing more tiresome than having to do up your laces over and over again.
  • Some destinations have strict quarantine laws. Consider where you're headed to and whether or not you can fly with fresh fruit and meat.
