Flight Review

Feb 19, 2020

One of my flights was delayed and the staff upgraded me to business class so I could get off the plane earlier and make my connecting flight. If she hadn’t done that, I would have missed my connecting flight and had to spend the night in the airport in Toronto. Also the person at the gate responded quickly and got me on the original flight. Thank you SO much to these great employees!!

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Moncton

If you like the idea of spending more time at the airport restaurants and less time navigating your way through security on your way to Moncton, follow these suggestions:

  • Airport security staff will ask to see your travel ID and boarding pass at the checkpoint. Put them in a convenient place, so they're ready for inspection.
  • It's helpful to know that metal belt buckles can set off the body scanner's alarms. If you have one on, you may be asked to step back and remove it before moving on.
  • Ensure your laptop, phone and other electronic devices are within easy reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine in separate bins.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to put all creams, liquids and gels in a separate bin for scanning. Make sure they're all stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Think about your choice of footwear. Slippers are awesome because they're a cinch to take off when you're at the security checkpoint. Try wearing a pair on your next journey!
  • Scissors and multi-tools are prohibited inside the plane. Pack them in your checked luggage to avoid leaving them at the airport security checkpoint.
