How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Yosemite National Park
Make your journey to Yosemite National Park a little bit easier by reading over these handy security tips:

  • Make sure you know the location of your boarding pass and passport. You don’t want to hold up the queue when you’re asked to present them.
  • Take off your jewellery, belt and shoes before arriving at the airport security checkpoint. Items such as these are not allowed in the body scanner.
  • Ensure your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are easily accessible. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine separately.
  • Deodorant, toothpaste and other toiletry items in cream, liquid or gel form need to be stored in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters). They also need to fit in a 1-quart (1-liter) clear resealable bag.
  • Give some thought to your choice of footwear. Slippers are great because they’re easy to remove when you’re doing the airport security checks. Try wearing some on your next flight!
  • Razors and knives are prohibited inside the aircraft. Tuck them away in your checked luggage to avoid losing them at the airport security checkpoint.

What is the best day to buy a plane ticket?
