"Our group of four adults spent a wonderful two weeks in this lovely updated home. The location was excellent for all the day trips we had planned. We went exploring all over the Upper Peninsula, saw Mackinac Island, and even went into Canada at Sault Saint Marie.
We all agree this VRBO was everything described online, but better and the WiFi worked great! The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed and the coffee bar was much appreciated since we are all big coffee drinkers. Check out the cabinets and fridge before you shop. We found some good basic supplies available.
Used the BBQ grill several times for grilling dinner and it worked well. Fire pit was nice on the cooler evenings and seeing deer on early mornings and evenings in the woods across the street from the house was a treat. We did not get around to kayaking, but enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evening and gazing out over the canal.
On clear nights the stars were beautiful. People in the neighborhood don’t leave outside lights on late in the evening, so it’s almost as good as going to the dark sky park nearby in Mackinaw City.
Melissa, the host, was very nice, easy to contact and responded promptly. We would absolutely rent this property again should we return to Cheboygan."
