The room was spacious, the bathroom was excellent, private porch area was great. There was no cable tv, no smart tv, the few over the air channels were blurry and the sounded terrible. had they been up front about this I would have brought my tablet. The walls are vey thin, you can hear the neighbors. The trees around the room were not trimmed so we could hear scraping noises all night with the breeze. The entire big space is cooled with one AC vent and when it kicks-in it sounds like a turbo fan going off by your ear, made sleeping very difficult.

Beautiful setting with wonderful accommodations. The staff was especially welcoming, friendly, helpful, and polite. Beach was great. Breakfasts were nicely done. Especially liked the fresh fruit, oatmeal, muffins and coffee. Only had one dinner there which was excellent. The golf course was fun. Kenny was very helpful. The carts, however, were a bit dated. Tiny gripes in regard your question about eco friendliness - how about electric golf carts and a container for recyclables outside the guest rooms? We had a great visit and would definitely consider returning. Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Plus - beautiful. Nice staff. Good amenities. Good room and facilities. Negatives - there needs more music playing…. Music is banned on the beach (I mean there is no music) weird right? The bars should be open more. It was hard to find a drink ( I guess shortage of staff to keep the bars open?)

The breakfast was fantastic but you need to be in shape or drive it's up a (huge) hill.. Great place to relax and me new people. If you don't rent a car and like to explore taxis will beat you up because no Uber/Lift around...

Beautiful property with magnificent views. Two nice size beaches. Rooms are spacious and the entire property is immaculate. Property is well staffed. Food on property is expensive and is mediocre. This property is conveniently located so if you have a rental car you are not far from anything you want to do.

Property was nice, comfortable. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The only downside of The Buccaneer is the food. The included breakfast was decent. However, the other food offerings for lunch and dinner were not great at all. We ended up eating 1000 times better off property. I would have expected better quality food at this place.

even with COVID-19 restrictions, tgis was an awesome time at a first rate facility. So awesome that we are checking out the Ritz-Carlton on St Thomas and flying back to this much nicer place on St Croix!

We loved oir honeymoon vacation here! The resort was amazing and the staff were warm and welcoming. We would love to return in the future.

Lovely place great beaches. Was surprised by how many locals there were at the beaches. At a high end hotel I would expect that all beach chairs and amenities would be exclusive for hotel guests. Not so...sometimes overrun by locals. Also service was often very slow. Breakfast buffet is included at the hotel but every server will remind you that their tip is not included and will pressure you to give them one. Very uncomfortable.
