Best Hotel in Chiriqui

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, great pool, great barbecue horon in back, good parking available
We have stayed at the Gran Hotel several times and it is certainly the place to stay in David. It is in the center of activities-the theaters, casino, and many restaurants are located next door. The hotel has a grand entrance lobby with an adjoining restaurant--which puts on a great breakfast and luncheon buffet. In the back there is a large swimming pool--largest in 3 provinces and it is nice to use after a hot day of travelling around. There is also a horon with a large barbecue area offering great steaks. Rooms are large and roomy. Showers have strong water pressure. The management and service is excellent.
