Excellent location, close to Waverley train station, close to Timberbush Tours-ask for Michael-he’s fabulous, loved the heated bath floors and towel racks. Shower pressure output was great. Very relaxing after long days.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Good value. Some of the repairs to plumbing and tilework in the bathroom aren't very well done, but not enough to stop me from recommending this hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Edinburgh

I loved this hotel...perfect location just off the Royal Mile. Neat old building, lovely decor, comfortable well appointed room. Very clean and smelled very good...nice to come back to after a long day of sightseeing. Shower was amazing and kitchenette very convenient.
