As with mostvof Scotland we have found. The people are their greatest asset. Always welcoming kind, polite. The breakfast was a surprise. They had several vegan options like hummus, veggie sausage, berries, fried potatoes, etc. It was good. The bad that over shadowed the good was a very long line of people trying to checkin around 6:30 pm and only 1 person at the desk. She was amazing under pressure; however, at the end of a very long travel day, hungry and tired, standing in line was not what we wanted to do. We recognize staffing issues are wide-spread and so we tried to keep a positive attitudes and a smile.

The staff were helpful and very professional. I enjoyed the breakfast which came with the hotel stay. There were nice amenities in hotel and the room included condiments such as coffee and tea. I did not like that you had to ask for your room to be cleaned if you wanted it cleaned. This was said to be because of the pandemic and to limit the amount of times people were in the room. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would come back.

Everyone was very helpful and courteous at this hotel. They even put my laundry back in my room. They held our luggage in a secure room while we did the Edinburgh Castle tour after we checked out before our flight to our next destination which was very helpful. I had emailed them with a concern before we even checked in and they were very quick in getting back a response. Would recommend this property.
