great property, easy location for getting out and about. 20 mins from Chester and shopping outlets, easy access to liverpool and Chester Zoo. They had great staff and great food (you've got to try the fish and chips). Parking was a challenge as the hotel is set between the canal locks, but the view was pretty and we fed the swans daily. We even saw the canal barges being worked.

Great family hotel by Cheshire Oaks

Very good hotel, super helpful staff, spacious room with 2 king beds. Good breakfast, decent pool. A little tired in places, pool changing areas need a bit of TLC as does bathroom, but all in all great value.

My family was pretty happy. My partner liked the canal and tranquillity. My kids loved the pool. Food is okay and rooms were clean with comfy beds. Food was amazing to my kids though.

Property and room were clean. Parking is difficult. The beds were awful, it was like being on a bouncy castle, this is an issue were have come accross with holiday inns previously. Breakfast was ok, again would be better if you could get your own hot drinks as staff were busy with each other.

Dinner?….. not for me.

Bed and room all very good. Disappointed with the dinner. Half the menu wasn’t available. What I did have wasn’t that great either. Portions were small. Ice cream had clearly defrosted and then refrozen. Didn’t want to say anything at the time. Coffee at breakfast was bitter, obviously overheated. I’d stay again, but only bed and breakfast
