It’s clean. The staff is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The repairman was around and prompt when I needed him. It’s an older building. Location was great for our stay. I don’t think there is a pool. I never saw one. Overall, we were there to sleep so it was fine. It’s also very close to the train which was nice since we went into the city every day while we were there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was exceptionally clean. The bad this were that the sink is a pedestal sink so there is no much room to place your toiletries. The other problem was that the bed was very very hard.

The microwave didn’t work right...i was trying to make popcorn and it almost had to bag on fire...they need to get rid of that microwave out of that room....the hallway was hot and smelly...the toilet was hard to flush and the shower was gross you could see were they patched up a hole and it felt like it was going to open up we’re they patched it.

Pros: Location and price
Location: Son was in nearby hospital, so I was not there on vacation
Very clean and the price was right. Location was convenient.

One night stand

Pros: Easy highway access and good location for where we needed to be. The desk staff were pleasant and professional on all shifts which was great.
Cons: An easy chair or something more comfortable than a desk chair in the room would be nice.
This was a one night stay due to being in town for a family funeral but the location was perfect and the staff was terrific.

A Good Value

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants
I enjoy staying at econolodge. For a reasonable price you get a relatively large room with a refrigerator and a microwave. It is extremely close to the Wantagh Pkwy so it's very easy to get back to the other highways from there. The only negative I noticed is that the cleaning ladies are very aggressive and will unlock your door and try to come in the room in the morning, whether you're there or not. Even if you tell them you're leaving at a certain time, they keep knocking and trying to come in. All in all, a good place and a good value.
