A visit to our Bed & Breakfast is the perfect way to escape your rut, routine and really relax. Come here, rest... rejuvenate ... enjoy nature. We have all that the great outdoors has to offer. You'll be served a gourmet breakfast each morning, go play all day, and then decide which of the local eateries to experience in the evening. There are several restaurants near by to chose from and the options just keep growing.
We can accommodate 4 comfortably with some overflow capability to handle a maximum of 6. Downstairs is a spacious, private room with a full bath. It includes a King size bed, TV sitting area, and breakfast table. We also offer a second ensuite guest room upstairs with a full bath and queen size bed. The cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, and large comfortable porch overlooking the forest. There are walkways and gardens spanning the 3.5 acres of our beautiful mountainside property.
We do reside on the property and will be here to check you in. Our apartment is adjacent, but a totally separate section of the cabin. You really won't know we are here, but If you need us for anything just send a text or ring the cow bell on the porch.
The Rustic Roost is located a few minutes from Lake Broken Bow and the Beavers Bend State Park in Southeast Oklahoma. Rusty is happy to provide any assistance you might need in planning your stay.
He will build you a fire each night in the fire pit and provides all the wood you might need. The hot tub is private and allows for star watching in a relaxed, quiet, secluded paradise. Come enjoy our gardens, the mountain, the river and forest. Every comfort is provided to ensure our guests have the very best experience and come back to see us.
We are best suited for 2 couples; friends or family enjoying quality time. Our cabin will allow you to be together or separate if you'd like the space. The covered porch is everyone’s favorite place to hangout.
We do have high speed wireless internet and Direct TV. We are pet friendly.
The lake is picturesque offering boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking, and biking for Spring, Summer and Fall fun. The river offers the same appeal with trout fishing and kayaking. Winter provides hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV’s and a totally different way of seeing the naked forest.
