It was quiet and not crowded at the beach. The motel was located right on the beach and the shells on the beach were plentiful and big. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

I'm sorry that your visit to this area of NC was not to your liking. Your review is unfair and untrue. You reserved a room for 2 nights, you and your wife checked in and then decided to leave, You made NO complaints about the motel. Your complaints were that the wind was whistling and you could hear it in your room, You and your wife were upset about 2 lots you had looked at to put your camper and felt they were not to your standard. Our Motel is clean, welcoming, and friendly and many people are happy to stay here and return over and over. Per our policy we were not obligated to give you a refund, however we did refund you 1 night!

It’s a alright place if you are looking for a place just to shower and sleep. However, the pier and the beach right in front of it makes it a great location to easily access to the beach

It’s a bare bones, no frill motel located right on the beach. No amenities (like not even a plastic cup in the bathroom), but the room was serviceable. TV was fine, AC was solid, had plentiful hot water. Not bad if all you’re looking for is a place to sleep and shower.
