We stayed in Overlook Cabin 1 above the lodge. It was very private and quiet. The bed was king sized and excellent. The sound from the river and the clean air was so relaxing. The only criticism would be, for the amount you pay to stay there they could at least give you free continental breakfast. The food was excellent for breakfast and the Pub/Bar downstairs. Prices for the Pub were very reasonable.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location

Hotel, lodge, and restaurant were wonderful. Booked in advance through travelocity. When i got there they said i only had 1 room instead of two and the price was not what was agreed on the website. Had to get manager at desk. Young girl at desk was going to charge me 169 instead of the agreed 109 per room and acted like it was my fault it happened. She also implied that booking on travelocity didn't mean i was guaranteed anything. Then i inquired about wifi and was told i could pay for it but nobody had any idea how much it would cost and for how long. Turns out you can have 2 hrs for 9 dollars. Thankfully when Kathie the mgr showed up everything got taken care of. She was wonderful and took care of everything including an upgrade! Had a nice dinner in the lodge restaurant, our server Frances was really great! Would love to return when upgrade construction is finished.

Beautiful Cabins in the Mountains

My wife and I stayed at the historic lodge for one night and absolutely loved it. We only wish that we could have spent more time! The cabin we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and clean plus all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect

Historic Lodge that will take yoi back in time. Great location and motorcycle friendly. We stayed in the Laurel Suite. Very comfortable. The only negative was no TV or Wi-Fi, but that allows you yo get away from it all. The staff was friendly and Claudie went above and beyond. Even though we were late for breakfast, they accommodated us, and the food was great. We will be back!

Great place

Our cabin was beautiful. The grounds are very nice. Food was good in both restaurants, breakfast and dinner. Sitting by the river, relaxing with a beer, is great way to end the day. And....snores by the campfire. Will definitely be back.
