All of our rooms offer the same free continental breakfast. However the room you reserved was one of the last available rooms and it is the least expensive room in the entire hotel. It clearly states that this is a small room with no balcony or views and only accommodates 2 people max. We clearly have it listed on the website that this room is only 125 square feet so that guest know it is a small room. We only sell this room usually when we are sold out or next to sold out. The king room that was available was much more costly than this room but was larger as indicated in the description of the room. You could have visited with your grandparents in the lobby as well. We have guest visit with other guest and family in our lobby all the time.

I am so sorry that you were not booked into a handicap accessible room. We do offer these room types but only with single kings. The room you were reserved was a non-handicap room with two queen beds on the pool side. I understand you needed two beds or we would have been happy to have relocated you to the handicap room with the king that we had available. Any time you book with a third party we suggest calling the property directly after booking to make sure that any specific needs you may have are met. We certainly do not want anyone showing up and having this issue such as you did. We do work very hard to try to accommodate special request. But having only king handicap rooms at our property makes it hard when a guest needs 2 beds. We are glad you chose to extend your stay with us even though we did not have a handicap accessible room to meet your needs.

Thank you for choosing us! We are actually working on our bathroom remodels. We had many rooms re-done over the winter and will be back working on this come this winter as well. Most rooms have brand new furniture and the kitchen areas were also just re-done. Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with your vacation needs

We are sorry you were upset about not being allowed to smoke in your room or the balcony. We do have designated places to smoke and the front door is not one of them. I am sure if our staff noticed this they would have asked them to move. We have done this many times. When you smoke on the balcony the smoke can blow over to other guest balconies as well as if the slider is not closed it can blow back into the room and the hall. It is our goal for all of our guest to enjoy their stay. That is why we designate places to smoke so that other guest are not uncomfortable. Our AC filters are cleaned at check out. We maintain a very clean property. I am sorry that the smoking rules made your stay unenjoyable but we do hope that you will give us another try. There are 2 designated smoking rooms at the property. These are away from other guest and are outside. Feel free to look for smoking under the room description should you have the opportunity to visit again. We do try to satisfy all of our guest smokers and non-smokers alike.

The room you booked was not a handicap room. Our handicap rooms are clearly noted as handicap friendly on all websites including the third party booking agencies. The beds in all of our rooms are the same height so getting in and out of the bed should not have been an issue even in a wheel chair as far as the height is concerned. Anytime a guest books with a third party or online we always encourage guest to contact the property directly with any special request or special needs that you may have told the booking agency you needed to make certain that you have actually reserved the room type for your specific needs. We have a limited number of handicap rooms so making certain at booking that you are getting this room type is very important. Since we were not involved with your reservation until you arrived we could not be aware of your needs without you contacting us. Had you have contacted us we could have confirmed that you had the wrong room type and we would have had you contact your booking agent to re-book the correct room type if available. We did our best although we were sold out of handicap rooms on your day of arrival to meet your needs as you request we gave you a ground floor room and even upgraded you to a king room for extra mobility verses the non-handicap room with two smaller beds you had reserved. I can not stress enough how important it is to verify what type of room you have reserved with the property once you have made the reservation to make certain your needs are met. The property is innocent of any wrong doing in this situation and we feel terrible that you did not book the correct room type. Again, we strongly encourage you if you are booking online or with a third party booking site/agent in the future to please contact the property after booking to make sure the room you reserved meets your specific needs.
