They lied with the pictures. There is no beachfront with this property. You get the same food every day. The female staff is rude and unpleasant.

Deja Resort has never advertised beachfront for this property. We have a few Oceanview rooms which are upon availability. Our location is on the hip strip and Infront of the Doctors Cave Beach. We apologize if there were any misunderstanding. With regard to rude and unpleasant females, we would have appreciated a little more details as to where you had experienced this and names if possible. Deja Resort apologizes for any inconvenience caused during stay and hope you will give us another opportunity to host you in the near future.Thank you for choosing us.

Deja hotel is in a great location for everything. After reading most the reviews online and my friend experience there I thought “some people you just can not make happy”. Well, this is my experience. The staffs were amazing. From the front desk to the back. Just naming the names you remember wouldn’t be unfair for the ones you don’t remember. Food/ drinks was ok. Same food options over and over again. No snack station on site. If you something to eat at night or even between times giving for eating. You do not have an option. I didn’t care because I was on the road most of the times away but when I wasn’t it would’ve been nice. The biggest problem I had was the room. Where to start? No phone in my room. The bed didn’t have a blanket. Half the baseboards were covered with black dirt, and the other half were missing. The lamp shade were dirty. The curtains supposed to be white but the bottom was black like it needed to be washed or replaced with new once. After flushing the toilet it smells like it has plumbing problems. The bathtub needs to be replaced. Water pressure didn’t seem to ever have pressure. The pool was taken over by leafs and needed to be clean. The room was clean it that helps. If you live a certain way and have a well kept room with nice furnishings this is not the place for you. Personally, I wouldn’t go back until they have a complete remodeling or deep cleaning done.

My husband and I are seniors. After checking in, we had to climb five sets of stairs to our room located on the second floor. In the room the following were missing: telephone, room directory, exit procedures in case of a fire or other emergency. After descending 5 flights of stairs to lodge a complaint, because of not having a directory or phone in the room, the alternative we were offered is to repack our suitcases and move to another room on the first floor almost midnight .Next morning we left dissatisfied. However, quite noteworthy were the ladies on duty at at the front desk that morning - Nataylia and Jeneilia. They were extremely polite and very helpful.in helping to alleviate the situation. I am a born and bred Jamaican, my husband is not. The situation became quite tenuous and embarassing. We are writing to Deja for some kind of compensation.

I spent five days without hot water to shower, I complained they came and checked but couldn’t do anything about it. No bottles water was offers. Rooms are very outdated. The same food every morning. The picture that shows on the travel side is different from in person. I’m very disappointed. Asked for some kind of refund and nothing was done about it. Will never stay there again.
