It was set back from the road, which was nice. Lighting on the drive up was not adequate though. Seeing the entry to the property from the main road was a problem. I think they tried their best with covid breakfast and clearly they need more help. The main issue we had was the bed. It was not at all comfortable and we both felt that we were rolling off (a king size bed) and one of us ended up with severe back pain. In addition, a bit of noise from guests above. Better sound insulation would take care of that. Loved the view from the room.

For the $400/night it was most certainly not worth the price. The rooms were very outdated, dark, and not what I expected. However, the rooms appeared to very clean and the sheets looked like new but the pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. My daughter ended up with a tick (likely from the room but no blame to hotel) and I called the front desk and asked them for tweezer to remove the tick, they were absolutely no help. I did find a couple of workers outside of my room who were able to provide me their own personal tweezers and were quite lovely and helpful. If it weren't for them, my stay would have been a total disappointment. In all honesty, if the room was priced at $125-$150, I my outlook would have been very different. I NEVER leave reviews but I felt sort of cheated paying $400 and expecting to stay in a nice resort. :-(

Front desk staff friendly and room was clean but there were no cups in the room, no microwave, the tv service was minimal, we had to ask for new towels daily at the front desk, and the hotel grounds were not well maintained, lots of weeds.

It is an older hotel with real keys to get into the rooms. Our room we found a t shirt under the bed and a decent amount of hair on the shower wall kinda gross.

Not a resort at all. A run down, dirty motel, and when we checked in and went to our room, found it was already occupied by unattended children watching tv and jumping on the bed. No parents around. Fortunately got our money back and left, but the whole place gave me an awful feeling.

My daughter and I needed a girls road trip and change of scenery. We stayed at Fox Ridge resort one night. Location was perfect for our planed activities. I was happy to see all the social distance guidelines in place and everyone had masks walking thru common areas. We used the outdoor pool and was able to stay spaced out nicely.
