We were very disappointed in the pool area. It was the main reason that we went - to bring our granddaughter and a friend for the night and to enjoy the pool and slides. The water was filthy and the area was not easy to be in. Not a lot of room around the perimeter to sit. It was a lot of money spent for 45 minutes of pool time that they did manage to get in.

The staff was excellent. The facility was clean. The breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, I was there when the pool water was over chlorinated and my granddaughters did not get to enjoy which was the reason I booked there. I do understand these things can happen. Training is probably a factor. It does appear that managment has not put any money into certain things such as no chairs in pool room. Even though we couldn't stay there ,metal folding chairs do not cut it. A few plastic tables and chairs are not that expensive. Also, I was disappointed with towels. They are small thin and rough. These were something I'd expect at a Motel 8 in Rocester NH. Stiff and uncomfortable. Can no one throw in a little Downey in rinse cycle? I think the staff was doing the best they could but Hampton Inn used to be top of the line, this does not represent at its best. I've stayed here several times and it seems to be going down hill on Quality.
