The facility was clearly undergoing renovations, which made the level of comfort even more impressive. Staff were friendly and attentive, the room was wonderful, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a standard continental spread and was kept well-stocked by staff. The location was especially nice because we were a 10-minute walk from CHI Health Center. Had to pay $10 for parking but would have had to pay that (and more) to park downtown anyway.

Hotel is under construction. Our room was nice but it had a smell to the kitchen area like something rotting in the kitchen. The shower ran so slow with hardly any water pressure and the water would not get warm. One of the handles on the sink came off right away when trying to wash hands when we arrived.

Great place seemed overpriced but you pay for convenience at down town events. Parking was an additional $10. Nice breakfast. Clean and friendly.

Crummy experience
The hotel was undergoing some renovations and apparently the room we were given had just been finished that day. When we opened the door it had the heavy smell of fresh paint and the room was cold. It's February in Nebraska and only 30 degrees out so i would assume the heat would still be on. When we turned the heat on it had that awful burning smell of dust. Upon further inspection of the room there was still drywall dust leftover all over the room from the renovation. It was clear the room had not been cleaned very well and looked like it was thrown together in a hurry. When we went down to use the hot tub and pool the hot tob was cold as could be. The maintenance guy that came to look at it was the sweetest guy though and he also told me to inform the assistant manager of my room problems and she would make it right. So far i haven't heard back from her but i only checked out this morning. There were also ants in the pool area that i informed the maintenance man of also. My daughter had gone down by herself and gotten a $10 and $7 ice cream and was charged $20 with no change. She didn't want me to go down and ask about it and it was her money so i let it be at the time. All in all it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had, especially for the price we paid. I wish pictures could convey the paint and burning dust smell because it was awful.
