I've always thought that the shilo inn was the place to stay when you go to Seaside. Its right on the beach, it has balconys to sit a watch the sun set, great location, but thats it. The Shilo Inn has lost its touch. Our room wasn't worth what we paid. The rooms are out dated, our bed was uncomfortable, some of our lights were out in the bathroom, the balcony was dirty with random furniture along with a box fan, fire place was dusty, some of the wallpaper was pleeling off the walls. Even the pictures on the wall had moisture damage. It's to bad that this place isn't what it use to be. We will not be staying here again

I love the view and the location. The fireplace only worked half the time, there was no coffee, no sponge for the kitchen or paper towels, the pool was closed and it didn’t say that in the current information on the website, the toilet seat was broken and hung off. The toilet water leaked into a puddle on the bathroom floor from the bottom of the toilet. One of the elevators was broken. Light blanket and no heavier one available.

Beware, No air conditioning in the rooms. Also the property has not been updated in a long time. Bathrooms are not nice and the room is very cramped. Different color mismatched light bulbs everywhere. Almost no closet spake. The bed has been lived in and sags, needs to be replaced.

In these times it is very awkward and unusual. Terrelle (sorry if that was not your name) was great. He was the only one at the front desk dealing with a caller and trying to help us. Our room had barley any toilet paper. The next a.m. had to ask for more and it finally arrived by 1pm. Would have expected sooner. The room was mediocre. The bed was hard. I loved the location that is why i booked it. The elevators are slow. I do not plan on staying here again. We were sad the pool was not open. I understand but hard to tell a little kid when they see a pool down the road open.

the ocean view was wonderful. the inn was not very well maintained. only one working elevator in the room, the none traffic areas was poorly cleaned windows dirty Too much money for the quality of the room, will not go back.

Can’t beat the location of this hotel and the price is nice but the rooms are a bit dated and a little dirty. There was sticky pink stuff on out carpet, the walls, chairs and lamp shades all had stains. The bedding seemed clean though. Also the cable is horrible but with the beach who needs tv.
