Newly Renovated Room

My stay at the Sunriver Resort River Lodge was excellent. The room was newly renovated and very luxorious. If you are looking for a very relaxing weekend, look to stay here.

Great location and comfortable night sleep

Pros: Spacious and very quiet
Location: Paulina Plunge and rafting down the Deschutes
The room was in a quiet location overlooking the golf course. The king size bed was very comfortable with luxurious bedding.

Great view, great amenities!

We had an amazing weekend here. The suite was very clean and cozy and had a beautiful view, the resort pool and aquatic center were super fun, and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful resort

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, fireplace in the room
We had a wonderful time. Our unit was a little remote but comfortable. It smelled a little musty - perhaps not used for a while. The biking trails were so much fun and early fall is a beautiful time to visit. Wireless signal was poor from our unit.

Nice place but not our cup of tea

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, semi-private hot tub
Cons: long wait at restaurant, poor drink quality at bar
Sun River is located in a beautiful place in Oregon. The room was quiet and very nice. It included a gas fireplace and semi-private deck. The bathroom was odd - stand up shower and toilet in one room, sink and mirror in the hallway. We were told we would be getting a mountain view room and were not given one. They said they had already given all the mountain view rooms out even though we arrived only 30 min after the earliest check-in time. There was a strange mix of families with children and rich older people. The two of us, 30 without kids, felt a little out of place.

Excellent Experience

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
I stayed at Sunriver with a travel group of about 30 friends for a ski weekend. We stayed at the condos, and the staff were always very helpful and friendly towards us. During our stay, we only had one problem, and the staff resolved the issue very quickly to our satisfication. I don't normally write reviews, but the courteousness of the staff prompted me to make an exception. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort, and will probably return there in the future.

Nice place to stay for a work conference.

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
We stayed in April, and it had snowed quite a bit the night before our arrival, so the cozy gas fireplace was a welcome feature. Our room was very clean. It is apparent that the building was built in the 1970's but it has been nicely updated. Our room had a flat screen TV, tasteful furnishings, and a clean, new bathroom. We also had a small balcony area. There are many walking trails surrounding the facility, at least 2 pools, spas, and tennis courts. I would go there again, but next time in the summer, so we could do more outdoor activities.

Get an upstairs room if possible (noisy)

If you have a choice between lower floor and upper floor, take an upper floor. Many families travel with kids to the resort, so it can get noisy.
