Our experience started off horribly as we were checking in. We had to pay a €200 deposit for any damage. The front desk which is barely a desk had a wireless credit card machine and wasn’t working. The clerk working on 17 January 2024 was about to turn us away because he couldn’t collect the payment! Where were we supposed to go in a city we are unfamiliar with?! Finally, on the third try it worked. Then the clerk said our room was on the second floor. My husband was barely able to fit into their small elevator with the luggage. Then we could’t find our room. I went back downstairs and told the clerk I can’t find our room because they name their rooms not number them. Then the clerk said sorry and our room was exactly across from the “desk” on the main floor. It was noisy and we can hear people talking in the “lobby”. Also the hotel is on a busy street and we can hear the cars and sirens all night. The shower had no separation from the floor and water went everywhere. It’s dangerous and it’s easily to slip and fall. Coming out of the shower I noticed the toilet and how disgusting it was and unclean. There is no USB ports for charging your devices and coming from America, It was hard to charge our phones. The Wi-Fi is horrible there every five minutes it takes you off and you have to log back on. I just can’t say enough how awful experience we had and how this hotel is very sketchy. Please be aware that they will try to not give you back your 200 Euro deposit for damages.
