Great location, great staff, real Parisian feel

I almost do not want to review this hotel, as I think it is a real gem and the more people who discover it, the less vacancies will be available. This hotel is wonderful, right over the bridge from Notre Dame, near cafes and the metro. The rooms, I found, were quite spacious in relation to other French hotels. I actually do not stay anywhere else when I visit Paris. A definite gem!

Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche - best little hotel in

This is my second stay at this hotel (2009 and 2010). It is located is the most perfect spot - near the metro station of St Michel (great for using the Metro), a 2 minute walk over the bridge to Notre Dame, and right in the middle of some great cafes. The staff is most helpful, speaking English when needed, and arranging taxis and reservations. A petit dejuener (breakfast) is available each morning at about * euros....room service too. The rooms are quite charming, modern baths, very clean and a great size for European standards. Would stay again! Love it!
