A fantastic hotel which is located in a lovely part of Paris, surrounded by lots of restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are travelling as a family.

Pros: this hotel was close to the metro, Cloud Cakes cafe and a shopping mall with a grocery store. This hotel was a 20 min walk to the Louvre and 45 min walk to Sacre Coeur. There is a nice courtyard where you can have a meal in a dome. Cons: smokers directly outside the door so you have to walk through smoke to get inside. There is construction currently so the front door wasnt obvious. It is loud during the day. We mentioned a special occasion and were expecting free breakfast or meal or a discount as we have had with other hotels but that was not offered. The room itself has no privacy or consideration. There is a large frosted window from the shower to the bedroom so people who are sleeping are disturbed by the light in the bathroom. The hairdryer is stuck to the wall with a short cord so its hard to dry your hair. There is no outlet in the bathroom so you cannot curl your hair as there are no mirrors near an outlet in the bedroom. There is no shower door either.

The main issues were noisy construction of part of the hotel throughout most of the day; elevator noise until late at night; gym was in a hotel next door; room carpet appeared worn and dirty; and food was not satisfactory, among other things.

The location was perfect, which was the only highlight of my stay. However, there was no electric kettle or complimentary water provided in the room, which was disappointing. The pillows were very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the room felt outdated and hallway light and did not justify the price I paid. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations.

We had a very pleasant stay - the staff was amazing, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The room was nice, clean, and well-furnished. The one issue we had was the noise from the renovation that started in the morning around 9am and continued through the day. Fortunately, once we were out sightseeing we did not have to put up with it.

I think people need to know that there are some major development going on at the hotel which means the hotel bears no resemblance to the pictures. If you’re giving a room in low 3 00s then watch out because the rooms are freezing because of the development going on below. I went through all of my emails from Expedia and there was no indication that the works were going on and that noise would go on from 8 o’clock in the morning till 6 o’clock at night. I couldn’t fault the hotel at all apart from the complete lack of information. I would be quite happy to stay at this hotel again because the location is fantastic and the facilities around the hotel are brilliant spoilt by the lack of information.

Great location right next to the metro with lots of shops/restaurants on the doorstep and easy walking distance to attractions. The building work was slightly disruptive but the staff and facilities at the hotel were excellent.
