Awesome Hotel and Location was perfect!

Location: Being that we came during Winter, there wasn't too much to do. And everything closes early. We went bowling and ice skating nearby.
Came to this hotel to spend NYE with my family. It was the best choice. Hotel is clean and modern. Food was great in the hotel and awesome restaurants near by. The staff was incredible especially the manager. When we checked in they told us our room was across the street. Which was a down fall being that it's winter and my kids wanted to enjoy the pool, which is in the main building. So they transferred my room the next day to accommodate us. We even got the same amenities, ocean front view.

Romantic overnight trip

Pros: Uber clean rooms and property, excellent, friendly, competent staff. Rooms have a balcony with 2 chairs and a table plus a full kitchen.
Cons: Breakfast. Very hectic. Crowded. Poor flow. Ran out of everything, it seemed. Eggs tasted powdered. Very few choices- eggs, sausage, veggie hash.
Location: Near the boardwalk's end. Free parking. A minimum of stores/restaurants open in the off season but still worth it.
My boyfriend wanted to go to the beach for his birthday in February. After reading the reviews, I chose this hotel. It is right on the boardwalk and steps from the beach. Even though it's the off-season, all the amenities were open and they even had live music in the lounge In the evening.

Beautiful and friendly beach resort

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Location: Loved the trolley and the boardwalk.
Our suite was perfect for two adults and two active preschoolers. The beach was right there and was clean and inviting. Loved the pool, too.

Our Stay at Ocean Suites in Bethany Beach, DE

The suite had kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with 2 queens sitting room and balcony overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful. We had a great breakfast in the large dining room, but did not get a chance to get into the large indoor pool. We will definitely return.

Hard to check in.

Pros: It is right on the beach. Room seemed clean.
Cons: Check in per above. The bed was okay but kind of soft. That's just a personal pref.
Location: It's right on the boardwalk. Restaurant was decent food but pricey. Our waitress was inexperienced but tried.
I showed up at 3 p.m. only to find check in was 4 p.m. Okay, my bad I should have read the fine print. But when I came back at 4 p.m. my room wasn't ready. The guy at the desk told me he would call me when my room was ready and said it wouldn't be long. I had booked a 5 p.m. massage so I was not too pleased but I patiently waited. Went back at 4:30 because nobody had called. Several people being told their rooms were not ready either. I was told mine was still not ready. Finally came back at 4:40 and they found a room for me. The gal was nice enough but really they should have done something for the inconvenience. It was not an inexpensive room. 4:40 is late to have to check in, IMHO.
