"I have stayed at the Omni Tucson National many times over the last 30 years. Always enjoyed coming here. As one of Tucson’s smaller resorts, it has lots to offer. This trip was for a girlfriend’s weekend and we stayed in the Casita rooms. We got a great rate on Expedia, which made it even better! I was super excited when I found out my room was a Casita suite which included a little kitchen area with the fridge, a dining table, fireplace, small sectional, and a super comfortable king bed! The room was really beautiful and they did a great job when they redid all the rooms. The room was tastefully decorated, and I felt right at home. I had a sliding glass door that opened to a little patio area with two comfortable chairs. My view was the golf course and a little pond. I enjoyed listening to the bullfrogs sing at night.
The resort offers an upper and lower swimming pool. My friends and I used both during our stay. On our last day, we decided to use the lower pool and we were very pleased. The weather was getting hot so we found a perfectly shady area to park ourselves for the day. We were close to the pool so could get in and out as we needed. Better yet, the staff was so accommodating and brought us some cold drinks. Two areas that need improvement 1) The glass in the sliding glass door in my room was old and foggy and made the view from my room murky.
2) there was a maintenance worker banging on something outside of our doors as early as 630 or 7 AM. Woke us up!
