The architecture of the building was awesome. The area was not bad. Close to restsurants. The one thing i didn't like was that the parking lot behind the building right outside our hotel room seemed to be a gathering place for late night partying. Cars doing burnouts, screaming, possibly fighting.

A very nice stay at a historical hotel. Do not pay attention to the naysayers on this hotel. It is not a new property so don’t expect on demand heating and cooling. The memory foam mattress was so comfortable. The staff is very accommodating, anything we asked for was taken care of very well.

It is a fabulous historic property! The bed was comfortable and the room came with all the amenities one would expect from a hotel. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but all in all a great stay.

Friendly staff, nice rooms

Pros: Location
Cool, classic hotel in easy walking distance of most of downtown SLC's attractions. Didn't try the bar or restaurant. Room was nice, clean and cozy, only complaint was the heating system which had a loud fan when it kicked on.
